Favorite Book

I read a lot… So the answer here has a tendency to change pretty frequently. I tend to read books in themed clusters, and one of my favorite themes is complexity theory, which has given me an interesting mental model of how the world works in nonlinear ways. I like Chaos by James Gleick and Complexity by Mitchell Waldrop.

Favorite Quote

I actually have this one tattooed on my ribs:

"There is nothing with which every man is so afraid as getting to know how enormously much he is capable of doing and becoming."

β€” Kierkegaard

‍

And my close second would be:

"Somebody may beat me, but they are going to have to bleed to do it."
